ROBES AT HTC

We will once again be running the Robes Winter Shelter along with six other churches in the area. The shelter at HTC will be headed up by Anthony Buck.

15 guests will stay overnight in Trinity Hall every Thursday from 1st December 2022 until 30th March 2023. We will provide them with dinner, bed and breakfast. The Robes team aim to house all 15 guests by the end of the season and help them find employment.

In order to run the shelter, we need your help! There are various roles which are listed below. This is a wonderful way to serve the homeless during the winter season.

CORE TEAM

We need a CORE TEAM of six people to join Anthony. The Core team will register our guests, welcome them to Trinity Hall and help them to settle into the shelter from 6pm until 9.30pm. The Core Team will need to commit to 6/8 Thursdays. The season has been split into two time periods (1st Dec 2022 to 26th Jan 2023 and 3rd Feb to 30th March 2023) If you available to join this team for one of those two time periods, please sign up below...

OVERNIGHT SLEEPERS

We need three people each week to sleepover with the guests in Trinity Hall from 10pm (lights out) until 6.30am the next morning. Beds and Bedding will be provided. If you available to sleepover on ONE of these nights, please sign up below...

CONNECT GROUP DINNER

We need one Connect group each week to provide dinner for our guests in Trinity Hall at 7/7.30pm. Come with your group one Thursday (instead of Connect group) and prepare a delicious two course meal for 20 people (including a veggie option). We all eat together around a big table. It’s a great way to serve and get to know our guests.
