HTC WORKPLACE

For most Londoners, more than one half of our waking lives are spent at work: whether that's sitting at the office, caring for relatives at home, or managing others.

We're convinced from the Bible that work is...

...a Good Thing. God our Creator and Father is Himself the ultimate worker and we, made in His image, are called to care and steward His world, to seek the flourishing of others and the world.

...a Broken Thing. Due to human sin and failings, work is at the same time also a place of frustrations, difficulties, challenges, idols and heartache - for which we need encouragement and healing.

...a Kingdom Thing.  Our workplaces are contexts where Jesus is Lord and He calls us, in the power of the Spirit, to serve Him, other people, and the needs of the world.

We therefore are passionate about helping every one at HTC to see their daily workplace (paid or unpaid) as a key place where they can bear fruit for Jesus every day.

We have a number of ways to do this, including:

HTC Workplace groups

  • Professional-specific networking groups (about once per term) to meet, support, and pray for others at HTC who work in similar fields
