Love Christmas 2025
Christmas is often called “the most wonderful time of the year,” but for many, it can feel anything but. Loneliness, poor health, financial hardship, homelessness, or grief can make the season especially tough. That’s why this Christmas, HTC is stepping up to share hope, compassion, and joy with those who need it most.
We’re joining hundreds of churches across the UK in Love Christmas, a nationwide initiative delivering Bags of Kindness to individuals and families who could use a little extra love this season.
These bags are more than just gifts—they’re a reminder that no one is forgotten, and that kindness still shines bright. Let’s be generous, let’s be present, and let’s help others feel the true spirit of Christmas.
How to get involved
Bags of Kindness
This year, we are hoping to give out 800 'Bags of Kindness' to individuals and families in our community this Christmas. We need your help!
We are doing things a bit differently this year, and we would love it if you could give in two ways.
1. Donate
Please donate to buy as many bags of kindness as you can afford. Each bag is worth £10, and it’s possible to buy multiple bags.
Our goal is to raise at least £4,000 through congregational giving.
We have a grant which will match this amount and make it possible for us to provide this number of bags to our community.
2. Packing Bags
We need help to pack 800 bags! Please let us know if you can join for our packing parties using the buttons below:
