Giving to
The project to revitalise our building for the future is underway.
Please use the information below to find out how you can give to this exciting venture.
Be part of the story
There has been such generous giving by the congregation and others. However, the full funds for Revitalise 250 are not completely secure yet. We still need to raise another £0.8m. We need to receive this funding by October 2025. We long to have the new church building ready as soon as possible, and certainly in time to mark its 250th anniversary in June 2026.
If you want to give a one-off gift or standing order to Revitalise 250, we recommend you do this via BACS transfer (instead of giving through our website), as it means you will avoid paying a 2.5% admin transaction fee.
Holy Trinity Clapham’s bank details are:

Account number: 56151721
Account name: Holy Trinity Church
Reference*: REVITALISE250
*Please note: It is vital you include this specific reference, so that we can distinguish regular HTC donations from donations specifically for Revitalise 250.
Gift Aid
If you are a U.K. tax payer (you pay Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax in the UK), we can claim back 25p on every £1 you donate through the Gift Aid scheme. To permit us to do this, please complete this Gift Aid Declaration.
-
If you pay tax above the basic 20% rate, you can claim back the difference on Gift Aid donations.
How Much Can You Claim?
For a £100 donation, you could get:
England, Wales & NI: £25 (40% taxpayer) or £31.25 (45% taxpayer)
Boost Your Donation at No Extra Cost
Instead of keeping the tax relief, you can donate it back to HTC:
Example: A 40% taxpayer donates £100 → HTC gets £125 with Gift Aid → you claim £25 back.
If you donate £133.33 instead, HTC gets £166.66 after Gift Aid, but your actual cost remains £100 after claiming tax relief.
How to Claim
Self-Assessment: Enter your Gift Aid donations in the charitable giving section.

Payroll giving via your employer
Many employers offer Payroll Giving which will allow you to give directly to Revitalise 250 from your salary before tax is deducted. To find out if your employer offers Payroll Giving, contact your HR office.
Give via charitable aid agency
You may wish to give to Revitalise 250 via a charitable aid agency such as Stewardship, CAF, Charities Trust, or Charitable Giving. These agencies are useful for those who give to multiple charities and wish to have their giving recorded in one place or for those who wish to give anonymously to Revitalise 250.
